The Egyptians weren’t very good at keeping things the same throughout their religious texts. Mainly because they often incorporated things from many religions.

Chris isn’t completely wrong about Anubis judging the dead as he has been shown to do it on tomb walls. Thoth also does it and records the judgement in the book of life. Here is a panel where Anubis guides the dead to the hall of judgement, weighs the heart while Thoth writes down the judgement and Ra presents the dead to Osiris (the man with green skin).

Egyptian mythos is extremely interesting but difficult to keep track of because it changes through their various stages of history.
