Special: War of the Worlds 1953 film

Mistress Zeneca and I discuss the War of the Worlds 1953 movie as it is connected to the 1980s tv show. We compare the movie to the original H. G. Wells book and discuss the Criterion Collection special additional extras and features. If you haven’t gotten the Criterion Collection, do it. It’s a great blu-ray that was recently released.

(H. G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds) is a 1953 American science fiction film from Paramount Pictures, produced by George Pal, directed by Byron Haskin, and starring Gene Barry and Ann Robinson.
