Guys, Uncle Hank is mentioned SEVERAL times during the second season, including in “The Second Wave”. In fact, he’s mentioned more through the rest of the series than Ironhorse and Norton are. Uncle Hank is General Wilson. The presumption is that the aliens “got him”. Harrison is trying to find him in the premeire because he’s “disappeared”. Kincaid had been working for him secretly and came across the Aliens with his brother who was killed. That’s how Kincaid finds out about Harrison and the team. He’s mentioned again in “The Deadliest Disease” and in “Max”.

In the episode we just watched Susan goes to her Moms and Uncle Hank is never mentioned, also we are both watching S 2 for the first time

Correct. He is not mentioned in that one. (Neither is her ex-husband, Cash McCullough for that matter). He is mentioned, as General Wilson- NOT Uncle Hank, in

        1) The Second Wave (S2 Ep1)- this is where they say he’s missing. Ironhorse comments “We’re on our own. We trust no one”
        2) No Direction Home (S2, Ep2) Kincaid reaches out to the military via bad Skype and asks where he is and “who’s minding the store”
        3) The Deadliest Disease (S2, Ep 13)
        4) Max (S2 Ep 18)

I’m aware of that, which is why I did not mention the context in which he is mentioned
